Summary

ClipMaster is an AI-powered video clipping and content automation tool. By using it to connect your social media accounts, you agree to use it responsibly, comply with all connected platform terms, and take full responsibility for the content you publish. You may not use ClipMaster to post content that violates any law, platform policy, or third-party rights.

1. About ClipMaster

ClipMaster ("the Service", "the Application") is a self-hosted AI-powered software tool that detects viral moments in video content, generates short-form clips, and publishes them to social media platforms via official APIs. The Service is operated by its owner for personal or business content automation purposes.

2. Acceptance of terms

By installing, configuring, or otherwise using ClipMaster — including connecting any social media account via OAuth — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

3. Permitted use

  • Using ClipMaster to process and publish video content that you own, have licensed, or are otherwise legally authorized to use.
  • Connecting social media accounts that you own or manage, or that you manage on behalf of an account holder with their explicit permission.
  • Automating video publishing workflows for personal, creative, or legitimate business purposes.
  • Using the trend detection and scheduling features to manage posting strategy for your own channels.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to use ClipMaster to:

  • Upload, process, or publish content that infringes on any intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark, without appropriate authorization.
  • Post content that violates the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service of any connected platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Distribute spam, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
  • Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Attempt to circumvent or abuse any platform's rate limits, API quotas, security measures, or content policies.
  • Use the Service to gain unauthorized access to any platform account, system, or data.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide third-party access to the Service without authorization.

5. Platform compliance

ClipMaster operates within the official API frameworks of each connected platform. As a user, you are solely responsible for ensuring your use of those platforms complies with their respective terms, community guidelines, and API policies:

6. Content responsibility

  • You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content processed, generated, or published through ClipMaster.
  • You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any source video, music, image, or other media you process through the Service.
  • The optional approval workflow is a convenience feature to help you review clips before publishing. It does not constitute a guarantee of compliance with any platform's policies or applicable law.
  • ClipMaster does not review, moderate, or take responsibility for any content published through the Service.

7. OAuth & account access

  • By connecting a social media account via OAuth, you explicitly authorize ClipMaster to upload and publish video content to that account on your behalf, using only the scopes you grant.
  • You can revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting the channel in ClipMaster, or by removing app access via the platform's own security settings.
  • You are fully responsible for maintaining the security of your ClipMaster installation and preventing unauthorized access to the dashboard.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access to your connected accounts, revoke OAuth access immediately via the respective platform settings.

8. Intellectual property

ClipMaster, its branding, and original code are the intellectual property of its creator. The AI models, open-source libraries, and platform APIs integrated into ClipMaster are subject to their respective licenses and terms. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to the underlying software components beyond what is required to operate the Service for its intended purpose.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Important

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

We make no representations or warranties that:

  • The Service will operate without interruption, error, or data loss at all times.
  • AI-generated clip selections, hooks, or captions will achieve any particular result or performance on social media.
  • Access to connected platform APIs will remain available or uninterrupted — platforms may change or revoke API access at any time.
  • Published content will comply with platform guidelines without your review.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ClipMaster, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of revenue, followers, or engagement resulting from published content.
  • Suspension or termination of connected social media accounts by any platform.
  • Copyright claims or DMCA notices arising from content you process or publish.
  • Platform API changes, quota exhaustion, or service interruptions.
  • Data loss resulting from system failure, user error, or database corruption.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClipMaster after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
